Considerate Design
A two-phase project in which an evolving design approach was implemented upon a flexible content management system.
Considerate Design is a grant-funded initiative, led by London College of Fashion, and involving several other institutions across the UK. Professor Sandy Black required a web presence that would clearly set out the 3 core areas of the project: Evolving Textiles, Knit to Fit and Bespoke Bags.
Phase 1 of the project provided a basic set of pages designed with a bright colour scheme. As the initiative gathered momentum, the initial design was made over to emphasise the textures and materials at the heart of the project.
Ben Serbutt delivered the phase 2 design, and the Wordpress core was re-themed accordingly.
